The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards glittered under the spotlight with a plethora of stars in attendance.
Nominees included prominent artists such as Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, Karol G, and Shakira. The event unfolded at Coral Gables’ Watsco Center in Florida on October 5.
Topping the nominations was the Regional Mexican band, Peso Pluma, with an impressive 21 nods, securing eight awards. Close on their heels was Bad Bunny with 15 nominations, clinching seven awards. Among female artists, Karol G shone brightest with 13 nominations, walking away with five Billboard Latin Music accolades.
Several performers showcased their most popular and recent songs on stage. Reggaeton trailblazer Ivy Queen was presented with the Billboard Icon Award. Additionally, Los Ángeles Azules were recognized with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award for their impressive career lasting more than forty years. Karol G was also celebrated with the Spirit of Hope Award.
